A Failed Project

General grounds for revocation of the green card include fraud or misrepresentation, criminal activity, criminal conviction, or abandonment.

Specific to the EB-5 visa, your green card will be revoked and your petition for removal of conditions will be rejected if your investment fails to create the minimum ten permanent jobs in the US.

If the job creation requirement is met, then the success or failure of the project is irrelevant as far as removal of conditions and issue of permanent green card is concerned.

Of course, a failed project may mean partial or complete loss of your investment, but that has no bearing on your EB-5 visa and will not result in revocation of your permanent residency by investment status. See All Costs involved.
