Joana Fernandes

Joana Fernandes graduated with a Business Management degree from Nottingham Trent University and completed her Masters in Law from the University of Law in the UK. Joana has a vast amount of experience internationally, having studied in the USA, France, India and China. In addition, she has over three years of international work experience obtained in Spain, France, China and the UK. Joanna was an intern at a commercial law firm in Beijing, working for the Securities law department. She has also worked for local immigration chambers in the UK and at the Portuguese Embassy in China.
Joana is able to speak four European languages, including Portuguese, English, Spanish and French. Having travelled to 40 countries, Joana has developed an ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural setting.
She has also volunteered as an assistant at her University’s legal clinic, where she dealt with social housing and immigration law pro bono cases. Joana is passionate about travelling the world, meeting new people and sightseeing.
